JFrog is looking for a motivated, creative Communications Manager with a growth mindset and passion for software and security to help manage our PR programs in EMEA – focused mainly on the U.K. France, Germany, and Israel. 

This individual will report to our Senior Manager of Communications (based in Sunnyvale, CA) and will need to work closely and collaboratively across a wide array of internal stakeholders (product marketing, sales, executive leadership, product management, etc.), as well as 4 different PR agencies in region to consistently create content, secure press coverage, and help manage our social media engines. The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with the software industry overall and/or software security more specifically, with an aptitude for writing, message, and story development.

As a Communications Manager at JFrog you will...

  • Draft communications materials, including press releases, positioning statements, Q&A documents, bylined articles, pitches, blog posts, and social media content.
  • Partner with our external agencies to establish strong relationships and regular dialogues with journalists, including tier one business, technology, and relevant industry trade press.
  • Assist with speaking and event support programs for key executives in France, Germany, and the U.K.
  • Manage awards and rankings programs for the region.
  • Assist with content creation and management of corporate social channels, as well as ‘social inspiration’ for select members of the executive team.
  • Work closely with JFrog sales, product marketing, and customer reference teams to generate monthly customer newsletter, promote customer wins, and case studies.
  • Track and measure external communications activity and deliver monthly + quarterly results reports in partnership with PR agencies; and
  • Support internal communications programs focused on employee awareness, engagement, and amplification.
  • To be a Communications Manager at JFrog you need...

  • At least 8 years of communications experience at an enterprise software, security, or ML/AI company and/or at a PR agency with client emphasis in those areas.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with impeccable attention to detail. (*at least two writing samples required in advance)
  • Deadline-driven, organized, and able to adapt to the rapid business and organizational demands that result from a high-growth environment.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and how each platform can be utilized in varying scenarios to achieve different outcomes
  • Strong communicator who works well both independently and collaboratively with a global team.
  • Data-driven individual who measures and tracks the success of programs regularly.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker with a desire to help build out new functions for the Communications team within JFrog. 
  • Curiosity-driven, good humored, dedicated, and transparent.
  • Team player with advanced communication and collaboration skills.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude - always looking for solutions and thinking out of the box.
  • Ability to work and succeed in a fast pace and ever-changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, tech marketing, or international relations.
