Apply NowWe are looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to work as part of our team at our Shipley Lodge service, Heanor Derbyshire.
Imagine being part of an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness. We believe that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity – and that’s why equity is one of our core values.
Shipley Lodge is a 16-bed single-level building for male and female clients. It provides a welcoming, clean and comfortable environment with facilities that support recovery and increasing independence. Residents have own bedroom with en-suite wet room. There are communal kitchens, bathrooms with baths & various living and dining areas. There is a home kitchen and laundry, but people are supported to use the independent facilities as much as they are able. Every room has a ‘nurse call button’ and there are call points throughout the home. We encourage people to make their rooms their own with personal items and choices about décor.
All our CQC services aim to support people to achieve maximum independence, and to move on to more independent accommodation. We believe in a person-centred approach and the involvement of individuals in all aspects of their support.
