We are a successful High End Furniture Retailer with nine stores across London and the South East, and operating within our own Customer Service and Distribution Centre.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic  Distribution Manager  to join our passionate and professional team, and be responsible for the consistent delivery of the BoConcept furniture and operational excellence to our customers, always striving to achieve the highest standards possible.

This is a critical leadership role that enables BoConcept to deliver the desired impact to our customers through:

  • building and adapting processes to improve the delivery journey, driving excellence in the booking and delivery experience for the customer and our technicians.
  • Tracking and reporting performance looking at cost effective improvements in routing, planning and achieving relevant KPI’s.
  • Managing Distribution and Logistics operations.
  • Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Working cross-functionally and effectively collaborating with colleagues throughout our stores, departments and global partners.
  • The ongoing coaching and development of the Distribution team.
  • A sustained focus on the continuous improvement of our delivery service through development of staff, procedures and technology.
  • Demonstrating exemplary brand and product advocacy.
  • We are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Logistics management role, or operational management and leadership.
  • Commercial acumen, and a strong understanding of analytics – demonstrated experience in driving business KPIs, staff planning and strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading/ managing team discussions that centre on performance improvement and/or performance management.
  • Passion for supporting, connecting and communicating with challenging customers and the achievement of positive resolutions.
  • Relationship management skills – demonstrated experience working with multiple Managers and Departments, whilst navigating complex information to find solutions.
  • Strong/perfect written and verbal communicator.
  • Ability to problem-solve, influence and make considered and efficient decisions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Experience and understanding of using systems and processes to improve efficiencies and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience with Distribution management systems and databases (preferred but not essential).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Strong sense of initiative and a positive proactive nature.
  • Respect for the ideals of BoConcept, and the rich manner in which the brand conveys its products, people and design.
