Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our established client's team in Sunderland.Our client is a worldwide supplier to the engineering sector, and are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to help develop the company further; receiving excellent company rewards, training and development opportunities.What's on offer?Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 17:00£17.06 per hour, overtime availableFull-time permanent positionWorking as an Electrical Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:Responsible for observing the drawing specifications, regulations and standardsResponsible for adhering to the set deadlinesResponsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Pre-assembly of electrical componentsAssembly of junction boxesCutting and pre-assembly of cablesWiring of electrical harness, cables, components and junction boxesPre-assembly and wiring of switch cabinetsTo be successful within this Electrical Engineer role you will have a minimum of level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in electrical engineering. Combined with:Comfortable and competent working at heightsBe willing to learn new skillsOverhead crane operator/slinging (or willing to learn)Work overtime including weekend work when neededWork using own initiativeWork inside the assembly area and outside in all weathersDo you meet the requirements above?
