Electrical Maintenance Technician in Bruntsfield

Build Recruitment are working with a North London based NHS Trust to appoint an Electrical Maintenance Technician: £23.15 p/h (umbrella PAYE)Reporting to the Head of Estates, the Electrical Maintenance Technician will w ork in accordance with the requirements of HTM's, HBN's, British Standards, Model Specifications and all Statutory Regulations, Codes of Practice and Trust Policies and Procedures.Delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive tasks across the hospital, the Electrical Maintenance Technician will have developed skills on low voltage switchgear and distribution, basic electronics, building management controls (automation and motor).The Electrical Maintenance Technician will also be able to recognise works compliant or otherwise to latest BS7671 standards. Be competent to undertake Electrical Inspection & Testing procedures. All with the intention of achieving optimum performance, Safe operation, and energy saving of Trust's assets.Other duties will involve fault finding, repair, inspection and commissioning in electrical and mechanical plant and systems which provides the engineering support to the smooth running of the hospital.About you:HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or a recognised apprenticeship in an Electrically biased discipline.Knowledge of maintenance methodologiesKnowledge of HTMs, HBNs and Estates specific legislationA full UK driving licenceThis role is temporary to permanent at AfC Band 5For more information, please contact Marcus May on (phone number removed) Build Recruitment Limited acts as an Employment Business for the supply of temporary workers and an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
