Salary: £38K - £40KKey Responsibilities:Conduct planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient working practises.Install and modify equipment as required, utilising your electrical background and knowledge of PLCs.Carry out root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement effective re occurrence prevention plans.Operate access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers to access equipment.Utilise digital resources to access information, emails, and complete reports.Train and mentor apprentices, supporting the growth and development of the team.Requirements:Time served electrician with experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.Good working knowledge of PLCs; 17th or 18th Edition preferred but not essential.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict safety guidelines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members This is a permanent position with our client, offering stability and opportunities for career growth.
