Coleman James Recruitment are working with our client in search of a Engineer to work on a permanent, full time basis.

This role will include; * On site control of technical aspects of track construction to relevant engineering designs and tolerances using a variety of surveying equipment and techniques.

* Managing construction records.

* Production of site safety documentation including risk assessments, method statements and task briefs.

* Working closely with the Senior Engineer and/or Project Manager.

* Supporting in the project bid/tendering process.

* Providing site support to the team.

The successful candidate will have; * Experience of working within Track and Civil Engineering.

* Experience of using 3D Surveying instruments in a construction environment.

* A degree in Engineering or related discipline with an HNC/HND as a minimum.

* Confident communication skills.

* Competent user on Microsoft packages.

* Full UK Driving License.

This is a permanent full time position with some weekend work would be necessary
