Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in Team Valley Trading Estate for an Engineering Geologist.

As an Engineering Geologist at GEOL, you will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing geological data, and designing ground models.

You will also manage projects, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical site investigations, preferably from a consultancy background
• Valid CSCS card for on-site work
• Strong understanding of geology, including engineering geology, soil mechanics, and rock mechanics
• Expertise in geotechnical software such as HoleBASE or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience in geological mapping, sampling, logging and interpretation of geological data for ground models is essential
• Experience with geotechnical instrumentation, including data collection and interpretation, is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
