The events manager role can be based at either our Blackpool or Manchester offices, with occasional travel between the two.
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual to join our Events Team as Events Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with rightsholders and suppliers (both in UK and Overseas) to create unforgettable experiences for our partnership programmes.
Day-to-day, the Events Manager will be responsible for leading a team of three in organising and delivering high-end, exclusive events at some of the most recognisable sports venues in the world as well as delivering an exciting roadmap of internal events for Eleven colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of three to deliver the Eleven events program - from watch training experiences to gala dinners, the Events Manager will be expected to manage a regular cadence of weekly events across all rightsholder properties
- Coordinating and delivering the events in the UK and overseas, ensuring all contracted events are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, within the agreed budget
- Maintenance of internal reporting and documentation as well as producing regular updates for key stakeholders
- Liaising with suppliers and rights holders throughout the events planning process and upholding Eleven's excellent reputation
- Responsibility for hitting key KPI's for events including attendance and customer satisfaction
Person Specification - Essential:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role with a background in delivering medium to large scale events
- Must be able to work UK or US office hours as and when required.
- Must be willing and able to travel overseas to events. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with confidence in building strong relationships, taking ownership of projects and problem solving.
- Strong IT Skills, including MS Office applications - Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
- (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in Events Management, Business Management or a related field (preferred but not essential for candidates with demonstrable experience working in an events field)
