Field Service Engineer * Electrically biased field service position. Would suit an experienced Service, Commissioning, or Maintenance Engineer who enjoys travelling. * Mostly UK and Ireland travel with some occasional international work. * Specialist product training provided. If yes, then please read on.We are working with an established engineering manufacturer who are undergoing strong levels of growth. As Field Service Engineer, you will be home based in the UK & Ireland and maintain and commission the client’s special purpose equipment in the field. The ideal profile is for someone to be Electrically qualified and have good mechanical knowledge, combined with a willingness to get their sleeves rolled up.The role will involve significant throughout the UK & Ireland (and possibly some occasional international work). Large jobs may be 2-3 weeks in duration and regular service trips are likely to be around 2-3 days in duration. Some weekend working will be required; as a very rough estimate, maybe one weekend every five (x1.5 overtime on Saturdays, x2 overtime on Sundays). Call-outs at short notice also feature and the Field Service Engineer must be willing to travel at short notice. When not working onsite you’ll be at home, on-callSalary Guideline: £40,000 per annum + car or car allowance + OT. Likely OTE c£55,000 to £60,000 per annum.
