Robert Half are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing organisation based in Kidlington to recruit a Finance Business Partner. The Finance Business Partner will receive a salary of up to £70,000 along with other attractive benefits including flexible hybrid working and a bonus!

The role is split 50/50 between reporting and business partnering with budget holders or stakeholders. It would suit an individual who enjoys variety and the commercial side of finance.

Primary responsibilities -

  • Closing Month-End activity
  • Updating actual performance and comparing against budgets
  • Meetings regularly with project manager to determine latest forecasts
  • Accountable for Project CAPEX spend & OPEX costs analysis
  • Maintain in-house system to provide key project data and analysis
  • Support FC with in-year forecasting calling out risk and opportunity areas
  • Support FC with year-end audit requirements and liaising with auditors
  • Liaise with Grant officers on APC projects
  • Undertake any other duties that may be considered appropriate

    • Key experience and attributes -

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) OR Qualified by experience
  • Flexible in their approach to work, desire to thrive in a dynamic and exciting fast-moving environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively time manage and prioritise a varied workload.
  • Experience of completion of management accounts, balance sheet and control account reconciliations.
  • Experience in the production of timely financial management information, budgetary review, and variance analysis.
  • Creative problem solver, with analytical approach to implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
