Shepherd Neame are looking for a temporary Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Finance team for 6-months and lead the financial planning process across the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly management accounts for all of our corporate functions with insightful, engaging commentary and analysis of benchmarking against budget, prior period and key performance metrics
  • Deliver presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made
  • Business partner with senior stakeholders across the business
  • Preparation of monthly Executive Board reports
  • Provide finance support for all corporate projects and initiatives
  • Responsibility for the coordination, consolidation and reporting of the total Company financial planning activities (long term financial plans, annual budget process and current year forecasting)
  • Analyse competitor and market financial information to provide insight to assist with decision making

Skills & Experience

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of Retail and/or Manufacturing industries is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and able to respond to short deadlines

Full time, 37.5 hours per week. 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch (unpaid)
