Fuel Technican in Milton Keynes

Join Intertek as a Fuel Technician . The focus of this role is to assist the Fuels testing department with all test fuel coordination and preparation. In addition to this you will also support the Workshop Manager across both Milton Keynes Transportation Technology facilities. Ensuring that both sites are clean, tidy and adhere to the relevant British Standards criteria.

ABOUT YOU

Required skills and experience

• Previous relevant industry experience

Able to use hand and power tools for manual tasks

• Exceptional attention to detail

Strong H&S awareness and understanding

• Forklift Truck Licence
• Full UK Driving Licence

Beneficial skills and experience

• Vocational qualification in an Automotive mechanical discipline
• PC literate (Microsoft Word/Excel)
• Kaizen 5S knowledge

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Key responsibilities:

• Support the fuels department by taking ownership of barrel register, fuel weighing and fuel blending
• Prepare fuel to test instruction from the Engineers
• Maintain specialist fuels, additives and ingredients stocks
• Forklift truck duties
• Oversee deliveries and collections including Fuel Tanker deliveries
• Maintain high health & safety standards
• Using company vehicles to collect or deliver items

Based in Milton Keynes, Tanners Drive. Permanent. Full time. 40hrs per week:

Mon- Fr 9:00 to 17:00
