They Require a General Manager to run the factory and be the face of the business, meeting clients, showing them the capabilities new and existing products, and output.

This requires someone who is a seasoned and polished with an engineering background in manufacturing (apprenticeship or equivalent), covering sheet metal, press brake and welding as a broad overview.

The company will grow exponentially over the next 5 years so it would be a great time to start and grow with this firm.

As a General Manager you would deal with day to day running of the factory including staffing, output reporting.

And any other operational duties.

Ultimately the General Manager must be from a Manufacturing background where you’ll create exciting, innovative culture for the company and relish to showcase the factory and products and services to clients.

Other parts of the role include talking to all departments and board level, outlining transport and logistics, Quality, Design, and projected impact/production times and liaise with external companies if needed.

You will have impeccable man management, operational commercial awareness skills and ability to use Microsoft software packages and MRP/ERP Systems.

As the General Manager your direct report would be the MD / CEO reporting on activities.

This would not be a work from home position and therefore the successful person would need to be at the Factory daily.
