Robert Half are working with a private equity backed real estate and property business based in Central London, to recruit a Group Financial Reporting Manager for a 12 month role paying between £65-75K pro rata. This is a highly demanding position for someone looking for a challenging and invigorating work environment. This role will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with the Group CFO, CTO and regional leadership. You will play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the group, in delivering high quality and accurate financial information to senior leadership and build processes to coordinate the regional teams to deliver regular and accurate reporting.

The Role

As the Group Financial Reporting Manager, you would be supporting with:

Group Reporting Process

  • Develop and implement standardised group reporting procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in the financial data across all entities.
  • Establish KPIs to track financial performance and facilitate decision-making at the group level.
  • Continuously review and improve reporting processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Codify and outline a group accounting policy in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (e.g. IFRS), which regional postings can be reviewed and checked against.
  • Liaise with third parties and consultants on technical group led projects (e.g. set up of transfer pricing strategy with PwC).

    • Establishing monthly close processes

  • Design and implement a comprehensive monthly close process, ensuring adherence to timelines and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance teams in different regions to standardise close procedures and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

    • Implementation support

  • Act as a liaison between the finance teams and external vendors during NetSuite implementation, offering expertise and guidance on financial reporting requirements.
  • Assist regional finance teams in configuring NetSuite modules to meet reporting needs and integrate data seamlessly into the group reporting systems.

    • Your Profile

  • Fully Qualified ACA with 3-5 years post qualified experience.
  • Robust technical understanding of reporting and reporting standards such as IFRS.
  • Prior experience in working in multinational group environment.
  • Prior experience in a similar interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
