Head of Litigation - Lawyer

Venn Group are partnered with an established and forward-thinking East Midlands firm who are looking for an experienced Litigation Lawyer to lead their team.

The Role

The reason for the role is to replace one of the firms longstanding Senior Litigators who has announced their intention to retire in the summer.

As a Senior Litigation Lawyer and head of department you would be repsonsible for a small team of a fee earner and support staff, and would inherit a mixed caseload of civil, commercial and property litigation matters.

Experience with employment law is beneificial but not necessary.

This position is ideally suited to a current Head of Litigation and also to Litigation Lawyers wishing to take the step up into a management and partnership role.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with over four years PQE
• Experience in civil, commercial and property litigation matters
• Good communication, negotiation, and client management skills
