Elevation Recruitment Group’s Technical Engineering division is currently working with a global, leading manufacturing business in their search for a Head of Technical in South Yorkshire. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping multiple divisions, key business strategy for 2024 and beyond, as well as providing a influential platform in the senior leadership team. There is a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits package on offer for the right individual who can combine experience leading technical and quality functions with strategically guiding important business wide strategy.  The Head of Technical duties & Responsibilities will include:Support the Group strategy and share knowledge and learnings for the technology roadmap, allocating technical resources to achieve outlined objectives Drive and develop a wide range of technical and quality business functions including the development of highly qualified teamsOwnership of site technical budget to support to further development of site capabilities across 3 functionsUtilise previous hands on technical experience form challenging manufacturing fields to steer the growth and direction of each divisionYou will lead from the front, coach mentor and develop your team to be customer centric and deliver the best customer experienceActive engagement and implementation of change management across the site.Support cross functional departments in delivery first class service; products and technical knowledge Elevation are keen to speak with people that have worked in a similar capacity if not the same level operation before with demonstrable skills in the following areas: Degree educated (desirable)Previous experience working within a Technical lead, Quality Lead, or similar function at a strategic and senior leadership levelsExperience within highly regulated manufacturing environment (preferably material, metals, chemistry, heavy engineering and/or metallurgy)Strong leadership skills, with the ability to share knowledge amongst your peers, coach mentor and develop your team Self motivated with an analytical approach and ability to problem solve If this role is of interest or you would like a confidential chat, please contact Jack Heffren or apply today
