Main PurposeThe purpose of this role is to help learners in the effective delivery and management of your sector through remote sessions, individual face-to-face sessions.

To support and guide learners ensuring that appropriate interventions are taken where appropriate.

The timely uploading of learner’s evidence to the ePortfolio system.

Provide marking and feedback to learners.

Driving success rates and first-time pass rates across all functional skills disciplines.

Your role will entail working and liaising with Quality and Compliance departments.

Responsibilities * To support with learner engagement/support through remote sessions, individual face-to-face sessions and completing group sessions in the form of Masterclasses.

* To support and guide learners ensuring that appropriate interventions are taken where appropriate * Timely uploading of learner’s evidence to the ePortfolio system * Timely marking and feedback of ALL learners completed work, assignments etc * Driving success rates and first-time pass rates across all functional skills disciplines * Ensuring apprentices are supported through targeted learning and being managed effectively through ongoing guidance and support in best practice * To support with the embedding of English, maths, and wider learning into the existing provision including providing one to one coaching and internal training as appropriate * To develop constructive staff development plans and propose appropriate CPD for teams, including occupational competence utilising information from lesson observations, learner, and client feedback, awarding organisations and other relevant stakeholders * Support with the development and ongoing review of our curriculum offer for functional skills working closely with key stakeholders including employers to ensure quality provision and content that is fit for purpose * Support with the development of curriculum in line with your areas of expertise * Lead on the development of contextualised resources for our learners aligned to their main programme of study * Maintain up to date knowledge of government policy, industry updates and the wider skills sector to influence internal planning * Support with multiple programme development projects simultaneously by prioritising deadlines, tracks development life cycles and ensures that problems are addressed, escalated where needed, and resolved quickly * Encourage communities of practice among sector delivery teams * To promote, enable and support dissemination of sharing of best practice; attend standardisations and training sessions * To keep updated of developments in online technologies / methodologies for further opportunities to engage in teaching, learning and assessment * Regularly review and update training and assessment materials * Interact with clients in the planning and scoping requirements for curriculum * Reviews and tests new and revised curriculum offerings, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement; contributes to new curriculum or program ideas * To read and interpret key data, from In-depth internal tracking system as means of identifying intervention opportunitiesUnderpinning Skills, Attitudes and Behaviours * Logical and creative thinking skills * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and to take responsibility * Can use own initiative * A thorough and organised approach * Ability to work with a range of internal and external people * Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations * Maintain productive, professional, and secure working environment * An ability to develop others and to apply knowledge and expertise in training and development * Proven track record of innovation
