The school are looking for a HLTA on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role will be full time, working Monday-Friday within class.In this role, your key responsibilities will be based in and around the classroom, supporting the class teacher. This will include making sure correct behaviour is adhered to at all times, working with small groups and 1:1 interventions. A sound knowledge of the curriculum will be needed, as well as a good knowledge of strategies to best support SEN children. You will also be required to cover classes during PPA time or in a teachers absence.The school are looking for a candidate who:Has the relevant degree or TA qualificationHas 1 years' experience within an education settingUnderstands various SEN needsExperience working 1:1Has a sound working knowledge of the National CurriculumCan effectively build relationships with children quickly.If you feel this is a role you are capable of fulfilling, please do not hesitate to submit your CV via the application page or contact Scott at LTF Recruitment.
