Job description:

We are looking for a seasoned Platform Engineer with a passion for developing scalable, reliable, secure, and innovative cloud infrastructure & DevOps tooling, and building an amazing platform culture. You will be part of an all-star early team, building the future of software. We’re looking for superstars who move fast, adapt to changes, and know how to build great infrastructure with minimal guidance.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, manage, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and operations.
• Work with a modern stack (Azure, Kubernetes, Flux, Terraform, Temporal, OpenTelemetry, Golang, ...), that you're free to adapt and define using your experience of what works.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure-as-code solutions, supporting multi-tenant, single-tenant, and on-prem enterprise deployments.
• Support security & compliance efforts and help set the security culture across the team.
• Ensure high availability, great observability, and disaster recovery capabilities for our critical systems
• Take ideas to implementation to shipping. You intuitively know what a great platform and tooling that works for everyone looks like.
• Collaborate in designing and implementing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and other DevOps tooling.
• Contribute to fostering an engineering and platform culture that values innovation and high-quality standards.
• Work closely in a small team to rapidly build top-tier cloud infrastructure and tooling.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 8 years of relevant cloud platform work experience.
• The drive to work at an early-stage startup
• Infrastructure-as-code is your default.
• You're a strong software engineer, proficient in a modern backend language, and you value software engineering backgrounds for platform engineers.
• Highly proficient in a modern infra stack (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.) and with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• You have industry experience with building platform for enterprise SaaS.
• Knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance best practices. Ideally you've gone through compliance certifications like SOC2 or ISO before.
• Extensive experience with system monitoring, logging, and tracing, and building highly available systems. Experience as an SRE is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• You know how to make infra work for engineers as you are one yourself. You know how to make platform as seamless as possible internally.
• Experience with configuring and maintaining workflow orchestration systems like Argo or Temporal is a plus.
