Due to continuous growth, my fantastic client who is a well-known management consultancy, is seeking a Modern Workplace Platform Consultant, 365 Design Engineer to join them on a Fixed-Term Contact basis (with potential for turning permanent). This is an exciting time to join as the organisation is currently undergoing a large workplace roll out and migration programme.

Role:

Reporting to the Head of Consultancy, you will be responsible for the design, development and roadmap of the technology the organisation uses, such as the Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange-Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Windows 10, Windows 11, Endpoint and Intune.

You will play a pivotal role as the firm undergo a digital transformation to work in a more mobile way and be a champion of the cloud strategy. You will be responsible for setting the standards, patterns and principles that apply to all of the technology in the firm’s EUC portfolio either on-premise or cloud hosted and define what the future state of the digital workplace looks like.

The following are essential:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an 365 consultant with excellent Microsoft Azure knowledge and Sharepoint
• Demonstrable experience in Tenant to Tenant migration and Exchange online to Intune via co-management
• Good understanding of security & compliance records such as DMARC/DKIM/SPF.
• Au fait with messaging protocols used within the messaging platform, such as Autodiscover, DNS etc
• Technical competence of MFA and SSO technologies
• Working knowledge of data retention practices such Microsoft Purview
• Strong knowledge with productivity & collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office suite including: Outlook, Teams, Viva, Forms.
• Working knowledge of PowerAutomate/Power BI
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Social Media such as Microsoft Viva, Meta Workplace etc
• Enterprise Mobility, particularly mobile phones – Intune MDM/MAM
• Experience in Windows 10 / Windows 11 roll out and deployment
• Experience in Active Directory, Azure AD
• Experience in Microsoft 365 including MS Teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and steer stakeholders
