Junior Category Manager in Yorkshire and the Humber

The roleReporting to the Head of Marketing you will assist in developing and driving category growth plans, based on thorough understanding of market performance and customer behaviour.

You will lead on innovation and influence new product development briefs.

You will develop true expertise and use this knowledge to work in partnership with retailer stakeholders to ensure the category meets the changing needs of customers, giving the retailer and Cranswick opportunities for growth.

The personOur ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year experience working within a Category Management function in an FMCG business.

You will be passionate about working with the fresh food retail market.

Positive bold and ambitious and have experience of working within a Catergory Management Function and a good knowledge of Kantar and Quantium.

You will have strong analytical and numerical skills to derive insight from complex data sources and have attention to detail and creativity to deliver new ways of working.

You will have experience of using market data be a confident decision maker and strong communication / influencing skills.

You will have the ability to maintain and grow relationships with all levels internally and externally.

You will have strong and engaging presentation style - clearly linking insight to recommendations.
