Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant required to start as soon as possible for a primary school in Hodge Hill, Birmingham.

You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a KS2 child who has Down Syndrome – Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable.

This is a full time, long term role continuing on a ongoing basis for the whole academic year.

* Location – Hodge Hill, Birmingham
* Position – KS2 SEN TA

* Minimum rate of pay £ per day – pay negotiable
* Hours – 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

TA Experience, Training and Qualifications

* It is essential that you have at least a Level 3 qualification and experience working in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
* Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide two professional child related references.
