A privately owned manufacturing business on the outskirts of Blackpool are experiencing significant growth, and are now looking to strengthen their finance team by recruiting a new Management Accountant.

This is a diverse and hands on role which will provide exposure across the full spectrum of finance, offering a variety of business facing duties involving engaging with key stakeholders in the business.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:

With full support and guidance from the Financial Controller, as Management Accountant you will be heavily involved in the production of the management accounts pack for the business. You will also be required to provide financial support including ad hoc analysis and reports to various stakeholders within the Group to aid effective business decisions. You will also prepare budgets and forecasts, and have some involvement in inventory management.

Alongside routine financial duties, you will be a key player in several upcoming projects including driving continual improvement initiatives including streamlining/developing existing processes.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

Although not essential, part or full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is desired and a full study package will be available for the successful candidate if required. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly good working knowledge of Excel as you will be required to handle large data volumes. Good communication skills are imperative as you will adopt a business partnering capacity and will often be required to communicate key financial findings to a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
