The Hyde Group are established industry experts within Aerospace Engineering and have a new vacancy for a Management Accountant at our busy head office in Stalybridge.

The Group is made up of approximately 25 subsidiary companies throughout Tameside and Stockport with a few based further afield.

The role will involve travelling to sites to provide financial support to the satellite directors.

The head office is responsible for providing financial services for the all companies throughout the group.

Main Duties

Monthly meeting with Directors in order to produce monthly Estimated Results.

Preparation of accurate six-monthly management accounts to a strict deadline.

Balance sheet reconciliations.

Preparation of year-end Financial Accounts for external audit and tax calculations.

VAT Returns and Statistical information.

Detailed analysis of the Job Costing system.

Budget preparation.

Management Information reporting for Directors.

Ad hoc analytical work.

Required Experience

Part qualified or equivalent capability / experience.

Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, Word and Outlook with strong knowledge of Excel.

Working knowledge of SAP.

Excellent communication skills.

Must be self-motivated, work as part of a team and work on own initiative.
