My client are the dominant player within their industry and looking to recruit a qualified Management Accountant to join their team. The role will report directly to the Senior Management Accountant, delivering month/year end timetable, taking ownership for the business unit balance sheet and managing a small team of strong Assistant Accountants. Key duties will include:Line manage two Assistant Management AccountantsResponsibility for the completion of business unit month end, ensuring that all central processes, accounting and journals are completed on an accurate and timely basisComplete month end submissions to Group Finance and be the key point of contact within the business unitPrepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and review those prepared by the Assistant Management AccountantsComplete the additional year end submissions to Group Finance and Tax teamsManage the day to day information requests from the external auditorsPreparation of quarterly VAT returnsPreparation of quarterly Levy returnsCompletion of any other statutory or taxation related returns or information requests relevant to the business unit, including ONS ReturnsProvide support to the preparation of Forecast and Budget Balance Sheet and Cash FlowKey contact for any internal audit reviews relevant to the business unitProvide support to the Continuous Improvement initiatives You'll be joining a talented, established and growing dedicated finance team boasting truly outstanding leadership and career development opportunities.Following a period of significant growth and with plans for continued future growth this position is a key addition to the team as the result of an internal promotion.About youYou will be a fully qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) accountant ideally from large company background would be an advantage.
