We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Material Resource Planner to join our client, a reputable technology manufacturer, on a permanent basis at their Ramsgate site.You will be ensuring the effective planning of materials and resources to meet the demands of customer deliveries. Ensuring all materials and goods are stored appropriately and will work closely with managers and engineers to ensure smooth operations.Benefits include a competitive salary, 9-day fortnight with every other Friday a non-working day, company profit sharing scheme, stakeholder pension, medical insurance and a rewards & recognition scheme.Responsibilities:Managing and controlling the Production Planning to ensure that production workflow is maximised to meet the output plan.Ensure parts and materials are delivered on time to meet the production schedule.Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.Work with the supply team and carry out the duties of a buyer as required to support the team's output.Liaise with Suppliers and colleagues to ensure that their delivery schedules will be achieved.Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.Foster close working relationships with associated departments e.g. Sales, Engineering, Production and Business Development.Continually improve planning methods and procedures to optimise production performance.Ensuring that products are shipped accordingly to the plan whilst maintaining compliance with export restrictions.Development and recording of relevant KPIs to improve performance.Required Skills and Experience:GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) or above in Maths and EnglishProven experience in a similar organisationExperience in MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning)Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systemsCapable of working well under pressureStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsAnalytical skills, Dealing with ComplexityWriting Procedures and PresentingBeing highly professional and proficientApplying health and safety practicesManaging stressful situations and projectsFull clean driving licenceTo find out more about the position, please apply and we will be in touch to discuss the role in more detail.CVs in Word Format to New Appointments Group, Expertly Matching Employers and Jobseekers since 1975.
