Dog Digital is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager for an exciting role based in our Glasgow office (hybrid working with three days a week in the office Tuesday - Thursday).

You will lead some of our most prestigious marketing accounts including Vetoquinol, Loch Lomond Group, Heineken and The British Academy alongside other exciting consumer brands. 

You will have a proven track record of demonstrating strong knowledge and understanding of the Marketing landscape with a focus on paid media (both online and offline), search (PPC and SEO), and the planning, execution and reporting of marketing campaigns.

Your thirst for knowledge ensures you understand the latest paid media technologies and deliver results with a drive for testing and learning.

Working within the Marketing Team, you will collaborate closely with all internal departments including creative, marketing, design, development, project management, and client service to deliver successful and leading-edge digital solutions for our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Planning, Delivery & Execution 

    Planning, building and optimising high-performance paid social campaigns with a range of different client objectives in mind, everything from brand awareness to sales and lifetime value increase campaigns.

    Find new and exciting ways to engage with our client’s audiences, with a focus on paid media and creative content.

    Work with our marketing, creative and design teams to ensure paid media strategies are part of a holistic, integrated approach to solving the client challenge, including writing creative briefs to feed into creative and content approaches.

    Build innovative campaigns that are insight-led and designed to resonate with target audiences.

    Optimising existing client search accounts for improvements on an ongoing basis.

    Writing compelling ad copy for all paid campaign activity.

    Planning paid strategies across a wide range of ad formats and platforms, including text ads, responsive ads, call ads, and shopping ads on Google, Bing and Amazon.

    Analysing competitive landscape and using this to help inform client strategies.

    The role may include taking part in new business pitches and proposals.

  • Insights & Reporting 

    A strategic and analytical thinker who can interpret numbers and data into actionable insights and learnings.

    Experience writing performance reports.

  • Client Relationships 

    Build close relationships with our clients through ongoing communication, acting as an extension of their team.

    Able to present the campaign's plans and results.


  • Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, agency or in-house running paid search, paid social and paid media campaigns (e.g. OOH, audio advertising, programmatic).

  • Ability to tie marketing strategy back to overarching objectives.

  • Strong interest in and understanding of the digital marketing landscape, particularly within paid media.

  • Interest in innovation and experimentation of emerging technologies and platforms.

  • SEO knowledge and experience would be a bonus.

  • In-depth experience and knowledge of a broad range of marketing and analytics tools (e.g. Keyword Planner, Excel, PowerPoint, Meta Advertising, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Amazon Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads).

  • Strong appetite to hit targets by monitoring performance regularly to understand the effectiveness of strategy and creative, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn - enthusiasm is a must.

  • Strong organisation and time management. Both reacting to assignments from the client services team or directly from the client and self-planning deliverables to meet deadlines. 

  • Strong focus on customer service.

  • Team player, at ease with internal stakeholders from junior to senior levels, and willing to roll up your sleeves and work collaboratively.
