Meeting & Events Sales Executive
Are you looking for the next step in your hospitality career? Where better to start your career in event sales than at one of the largest Hotel event venues in the UK – De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor.
Join our team as a Meeting & Events Sales Executive where you will work as part of the team behind turning email enquiries into unforgettable experiences! The role involves picking up the telephone to clients to discuss their enquiries in detail before crafting custom proposals, with the goal being to convert enquiries in to bookings to hand across to our expert planning team.
In return the role offers £25,000 per annum, plus a sales bonus incentive worth another £2500 per year (paid out quarterly), free meals, an annual complimentary stay with dinner at a De Vere Hotel, plus additional stays for just £50 and a paid day off for your birthday, to name just a few!
Your skills and experience:
• This role would really suit someone with hospitality experience on reception or in an operational events team looking to move in to an office environment with day time hours, however we are open to applicants who have worked in other office environments who are keen to pursue a career in the events industry
• You are confident and able to forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and guests through your excellent communication skills
• You are confident using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided
• Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
