If you're an Operations Technician and are looking to work for a leading organisation in the power sector, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and dutiesReporting to the Shift Supervisor you will:Assist in routine testing of the plant and equipmentAdhere to the H&S process of the plant, reporting any unsafe conditions and hazards to the Shift SupervisorAssist with training personnel in roles requiredMonitor the plant via DCS and its process to ensure that the operation aligns with all relevant operating proceduresTake part in pre-start checks following maintenance work or an outageProfessional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:Ideally have a Level 3 (C&G / NVQ) minimum qualification in a relevant engineering disciplineIdeally have a formal Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSHPersonal skillsThe Shift Operations Technician role would suit someone who is:Prior background within a Power Production site, this could be CCGT, Coal, Biomass, Energy from Waste, CHP etcA solid understanding of health & safety in an engineering environmentAble to demonstrate excellent written & verbal communication skillsSalary and benefits of the Shift Operations Technician roleCompletive salaryShift workingBenefits PackageOpportunity to work on a modern Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power StationINDPOWAstute Technical Recruitment Limited are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
