    • THE BUSINESS

    Westray Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Panel Wireman to join our client based in Washington. The right candidate will be joining a well-established company who are recognised as specialists in their field. The company is going through a period of growth and has a healthy order book. Our client has been operating for over 30 years and supplies multiple sectors across the globe.

    THE ROLE

  • Ability to read and understand technical electrical (control and power) schematic drawings and wire the equipment to these drawings
  • Distribution boards, switchboard and control panel / cabinet assembly and wiring
  • Adhering and working to health and safety legislations
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Complete given tasks in an efficient, fast and friendly manner
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

    • THE PERSON

  • Applicable Apprenticeship and/or time served or relevant qualifications (C&G, BTEC or equivalent)
  • Experience of wiring distribution boards, switchboards and control panels
  • Good inter-personal skills, team work, hands-on approach with effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working on distribution boards and switchboards assembly
  • Ability to be proactive and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work methodically and to high standards
