Primary PPA Teacher in Canons Park

PPA Primary Teacher * Full-time or Part-time * Start Date: 15th April 2024 * Ongoing contract to July 2024 * Primary Academy * Edgware * Paid to scaleA large, welcoming academy in Edgware are looking for a qualified Primary teacher to join their school for the summer term to provide PPA and class cover across the primary school.

The RoleIn this role you will be covering classes predominately across Reception and Key Stage 1 and some at Key Stage 2.

You will provide class teachers cover for planning preparation and assessment.

You will work with class teachers to arrange what is required for each lesson.

For the most part the planning will be provided, although you may have some input in certain classes/subjects.

You should have experience teaching across all primary year groups and have good curriculum knowledge and a positive approach to classroom management.

The week will be made up of the following schedule.

The school are ideally looking for a PPA teacher for 5 days a week, but could accommodate a part-time teacher from Tuesday to Thursday.

Alongside their main Secondary academy they have created a smaller self-contained Primary Academy.

There is a strong leadership team in place within the Primary Academy and staff and pupils enjoy a smaller, community atmosphere.

This role is suitable for an ECT looking to gain further classroom experience.

The successful candidate will need to complete Philosophy Education registration process and hold a valid Enhanced DBS prior to starting the position.
