As a Product Manager, you’ll navigate a product journey that delivers great products and solutions to solve truly interesting customer challenges; bringing Roke’s Intelligence as a Service (IaaS) expertise to the fore in mission critical environments.

Roke are a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Industry through our Futures business and Intelligence as a Service. You will work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges. 

As a product expert, you’ll be primarily leading development in the area of IaaS, shaping and validating propositions towards 1st customer delivery and the ongoing roadmap. As the role grows, you’ll be able to take on other product areas (Cyber Vulnerability Research) along with aspects of Product Ownership and Marketing

Your Key Responsibilities…

  • Lead Roke’s IaaS offering through the product lifecycle; covering launch, initial deployment and continued roadmap investment/development.
  • Ensure customer needs are fully represented and achieved throughout product strategy, roadmap and delivery.
  • Develop compelling commercial offerings aligned to Roke’s expertise and our customers mission critical challenges.
  • Be responsible for “go-to-market”, influencing key stakeholders to ensure customer adoption.
  • Build clear business cases for continued investment in your product offering.
  • The Key Requirements...

  • You will be comfortable operating as a Product Manager within technical new product delivery environments. 
  • A background translating technical concepts into customer facing value propositions.
  • You can prioritise, lead and deliver in an ethical manner.
  • You may have delivered products into areas of Public Sector or Government departments previously – any National Security exposure would be a bonus.
  • You will need an understanding of the IaaS landscape, preferably having operated around Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) previously.

    With us you’ll form an integral part of a recently formed product function, having the opportunity to develop and integrate standardised processes within National Security Solutions, working closely with the Head of Product and wider Roke team.

    You can be based from any of our offices below;

    Rromsey  
    Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.

    Woking  
    Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Woking site in a modern building on the outskirts of London. Rated excellent for sustainability by BREEAM & Fitwel certified – you’ll feel better for visiting. This site provides key links to our customers in London, is a 5 minute walk from the train station, has secure parking nearby and dedicated cycle storage.

    Gloucester
    Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Gloucester site in a business park two minutes from junction 11A of the M5; The site allows easy access to our local customer base. Set on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, you are never far from a picturesque view or lunch time walk.
