Engineering Production OperativesSkilled and semi skilled roles availableImmediate startsTemporary contracts through CNC RecruitmentYeovil£12.00phDay Shifts monday-friday ​​​​​​ * Temporary contracts with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person!Weekly payOnsite parkingThe roleTo operate a number of different engineering manufacturing machines in our production department and to provide general operational support.Key Duties;• To receive and check materials for production• To set machine in accordance with requirements• To operate a range of engineering manufacturing machinery• To check and ensure quality of product is to standard• To complete records and documentation as required• To maintain good housekeeping standards• To report any concerns to Team Leader• To ensure an effective handover to following shift where appropriate• To work flexibly as part of the manufacturing team and to support other team members as required• In all activities, to comply with quality, health & safety and environmental rules and policiesthe ideal candidate will have the followingQualifications/Education standards and level of skillsA minimum of GCSE level education at C grade in English, Maths and Science.Knowledge and SkillsFor general operatives- a knowledge of a mechanical background would be advantageous or any machine minding / production type roleFor skilled operatives;• Experience of milling, turning or any other engineering machinery operation• The ability to use measuring equipment such as vernier calipers and micrometers• Experience of producing a detailed quality product• The ability to meet high standards on a consistent basis• A self-motivated and focused attitude• The ability to work flexibly within the team and to support team members• The ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawingsCNC Recruitment are ICO Registered and comply with all GDPR processes,all data is strictly confidential
