We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract for 12 – 15 months.

We are a high speed beverage manufacturing facility and therefore looking to appoint a dynamic individual who is used to working in a fast paced and sometimes pressurised environment.

As Production Planner you will be responsible for preparing and facilitating a production plan that plays to the strengths of the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Produces reports as required including, inventories and held raw materials
  • Daily planning activities as preparing weekly production plan, coordinating the forecast input and initial sequencing
  • Manage the production plan and arrange raw material supply for plan: projects / customer approvals / maintenance / trials etc
  • When required able to adapt the production plan to accommodate extraordinary circumstances e.g. shutdowns, quality issues, down-time etc
  • Proactively communicate planning problems to all relevant parties
  • Using SAP to set up new labels and maintain master data, as well as booking onto SAP, calling into plant, weekly and month end counts
  • Dealing with Logistics and Transport queries and solving queries

  • Team player – the success of our plant is down to a team effort and we need you to be someone that is able to adopt this same culture
  • Able to work independently and has the ability to speak up when assistance from colleagues is required
  • An agile individual – our environment is fast paced and can quickly change at a moment's notice therefore we need someone that can adapt well to such scenarios
  • Proficient in SAP and Excel
