Project Coordinator in Reading

Due to our sustained and continued growth OCUServices are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ProjectCoordinator.The role is within our Power division working on ourSSEN New Connections framework. The purpose of this role is to workalongside our Electrical Project Managers to coordinate electricaldistrprojects for operational delivery scheduling resource liaisingwith local authorities customers and client updating workmanagement systems and submitting all required applications toensure projects are delivered right first time meeting the requiredprogramme dates. You will take ownership of thejob from receipt tocompletion. you will also be responsible for contacting andupdating the Customer and Client throughout with jobprogression.

Responsibilities

• Managementof job portfolio providing weekly update to PlanningManager
• Accurately updating all work managementsystems and trackers (Depotnet Smart Sheet Schedule) progressingjobs through each stage ofconstruction.
• Planning work to requested dates
  • Programming required workelements
  • Utilising available resource
  • Accurately detailing work element onschedule
  • Correctly assigning required craftsmen
  • Dealing with affected stakeholders
  • Liaising withauthorities

• Notifyingall necessary parties to ensure work can be carriedout

• Notifying Street WorksCoOrdinating department of required street works applications toraise.
• Raising necessary PlannedSupply Interruptions in line with network requirements (utilisinginformation supplied by engineers).
• Organisecarding packs as required so that the Access Officer can accuratelydeliver outage notification letters.
• Producingjeopardy reports age profiling outstanding jobs managing timely jobcompletion
• Carry out any other dutiesappropriate for therole

Skills &Experience

• Experiencein a Project CoOrdinator role (with a utilitiesbackground).
• Knowledge andunderstand of Street Works and permittingrequirements.
• Experience dealing with generalpublic customers and clients
• Excellent verbaland written communication skills
• Excellent timemanagement organisation skills and able to work to deadlines
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office(Word Excel Power Point and Outlook)
• Experiencewithin a busy office environment
• Ability toprioritise own workload and manageexpectations
• Attention todetail
• Experience either working directly for aDistribution Network Operator or for a subcontractor/frameworkpartner working on the electrical distributionnetwork
• Experience using SSENs EO Web onlinemapping system(desirable)
