A multifunctional role that encompasses all aspects of Quality Compliance. The role of the Quality Compliance Engineer will work under the direction of the Senior Quality Engineer to drive and assist in ensuring the Integrated Project Management companies are fully compliant of national, international standards and regulations relevant to our industry which are, but not limited to: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, RISQS, Achilles, NERs.This role plays a pivotal part within the Quality Management Team coordinating activities from all functions whilst working closely with Subcontractors, Contractors, Suppliers, and Customers.Main Responsibilities Support the Senior Quality Engineer and help maintain the Quality Management System. Assist departments in following the Group standardised documentation control as per all accreditations. Examine systems and processes and suggest improvements. Conducting internal and site external audits, to ensure that processes meet required standards. Manage external portals to maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RISQS, Achilles, NERs. certification, site / customer audits. This will be inclusive of collecting or uploading certificates and or documents. Conduct internal and external audits, regarding Safety Health Environment and Quality ensuring timely completion of audit & HSE CAPA’s. Assist with logging NCR’s & CAPA actions. Liaise with external bodies on matters of certification. Raise Purchase Requisitions to ensure payment of certification bodies. Collate and review Internal Audit documentation for submission. Support & host on-site certification audits where appropriate and necessary. Support the Senior Quality Engineer in operational aspects, driving forward change in line with business needs. Continuous improvement of company compliance. Generate KPI data in relation to Quality. Maintain document control. Work proactively with managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a program of continuous improvement in Quality management.Person SpecificationQualificationsA relevant industry experience background in Business, Quality, Science, or an Engineering related discipline.SkillsAbility to work under own initiative creating project plans, milestones and deliver on time in full. Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills Have a disciplined and enthusiastic approach, which captures the commitment of others. Influencing and negotiating skills Detail oriented with the skill set to resolve problems. Ability to present data effectively. Problem solver with a methodical approach and an eye for detail Understanding of cost and financial impactsKnowledgeGood IT skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Knowledge of quality systems Working knowledge of business systems Lean Manufacturing knowledge Detailed understanding of ISO9001:2015 Understanding of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Understanding of RISQS, Achilles, NERs Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processesExperienceExperience of dealing with customers and suppliers Power related background would be beneficial.
