Quality Technician in Bath

Job Description

This role is key to ensuring that the quality of components is continuously improving, providing a great reliable product to our customers globally.

Report to the Senior Quality Engineer you will part of a team of skilled engineers and technicians based in the quality department as well as working closely with Operations and Engineering functions.

In this role you will identify failure mode in products and components received from customers and production, provide support to Supplier Quality Engineers which include direct liaison with worldwide suppliers to implement corrective actions and completion of discrete projects fully focussed on product and process improvements.

This role would suit a person who can work well with others and alone as well as having the ability to communicate at all levels.

Experience Required:

• Experience working in an engineering environment
• Have hands on experience of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principals

• Is self-motivated, professional and has a great attitude
• Is a methodical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• IT literate
