INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:Job Title – Quantity SurveyorProject – Residential ProjectsJob Location – Mid Ulster RegionSalary - £35K - £40K plus vehicle and fuel for site visitsAbout the Company:Amazing opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with one of Northern Ireland’s well-established Tier 2 Main Contractors.

They are looking a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding company and they will have the ability to work both independently and within a team, have strong communication skills, and have strong leadership qualities.

Our client is going through a very busy period and ideally want to get someone with similar experience who can hit the ground running!

The Role: * Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.

* Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems.

* Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation.

* Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments.

* Preparation of Interim valuations and final account.

* Managing and valuing variations.

* Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts.

* Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships.

* Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself.

Requirements: * Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction management.

* 5+ years’ experience with a Main Contractor in the Building Sector in NI or ROI.

* Experience working within Social Housing Sector.

* Proficient in Microsoft excel and project.

* Driven Team player.

* Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

* Demonstrates commercial awareness – market, competition, value for money.

* Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
