Real Estate Lawyer in UK

Elevate is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real Estate Lawyer/Senior Associate to join our Planning & Environment legal team for an interim 6 to 12-month contract position starting ASAP .

The role involves providing legal advice on planning and environmental matters, including applications, impact assessments, agreements, appeals, enforcement, listed building consents, and compulsory purchases. It also involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, managing planning appeals, providing strategy advice, instructing counsel, reviewing documents, staying updated with planning and environmental laws, providing proactive advice, and mentoring junior associates.

Experience:

• A qualified solicitor holding a practising certificate for England & Wales.
• Minimum 5/6PQE in planning and environmental law, preferably within a leading law firm.
• Excellent understanding of English planning system and environmental regulations.
• Planning appeal and inquiry experience.
• Strong drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent client care skills with an ability to handle matters independently.
• Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines effectively.
• Commitment towards promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.
