Recruitment Consultant - Veterinary

  • Vet Seekers are looking for highly organised, ambitious, hard-working individuals with a positive attitude either with recruitment experience or a strong sales background wanting to build a career in recruitment.

    This is a great opportunity for you to join a multi-award-winning specialist veterinary recruitment business and take on a hot desk in a niche but very busy market.

    We currently have over 1, live locum and permanent veterinary jobs across the UK with an active candidate base, as well as an international desk. As a recruitment consultant, you will play a pivotal role in attracting top veterinary talent and ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.

    Our modern office is located in an idyllic setting by the river Nidd in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, close to main transport links (train, bus, motorway).

    Summary of perks:

    Great salary of £24, to £30, per annum, with basic increase against target achievement, achievable commission structure paid monthly and quarterly (first year OTE £37, to £60,+). You will have 33+ days holiday, including bank holidays and increasing with service.     Key responsibilities :

  • Identify and select top talent in the veterinary market.
  • Fully qualify all relevant candidates, establishing facts and motivations whilst matching to suitable roles within the veterinary profession.
  • Manage the complete candidate and client experience from post qualification, through to interview and acceptance stage.
  • Managing permanent or locum candidates and jobs.
  • Developing and maintain a good understanding of our veterinary client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment.
  • Delivering the highest level of service to pre-existing clients as well as new clients and developing strong long-term client relationships.
  • Manage all client recruitment requirements, from inception to completion.
  • Managing your social media presence utilising Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Attending veterinary industry events and conferences, promoting Vet Seekers as a recruitment partner within the veterinary sector.
  • Continue to develop and grow our candidate and client network.
  • Creating job descriptions and candidate specifications.
  • Co-ordinating with other team members and following the company's processes.
  • Maintaining exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
  • Continuous self-improvement around all aspects of the role.

  • Salary: £24, to £30, per annum DOE - With basic increase against target achievement.
  • Fantastic commission structure: Paid monthly and quarterly - First year OTE £37, to £60,+
  • Holidays: 33 days annually, including bank holidays with birthday off (increasing with service)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5.00pm/5:30pm with an early finish on a Friday and no weekends
