We have door-to-door and venue-based fundraisers all over the UK. We have been around for over 15 years and currently work with Macmillan Cancer Support, Alzheimer’s Society and Age UK .

Responsibilities:

Conduct all interviews for our current job vacancies, from fundraisers to senior management level.

Work closely with the talent acquisition team to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment pipeline is in place.

Carry out any relevant admin tasks relating to the recruitment process, including booking field observations

Work as part of the larger acquisition team which could include screenings, onboarding, interviews, meetings/Zoom calls, check-ins with management etc.

Provide input and ideas to help improve the recruitment process and ensure it runs as efficiently as possible.

What will I be doing?

We are growing the business at a rapid rate and we are now looking for someone to join our current talent acquisition team. You will be interviewing for our current vacancies, the majority of these being door to door or venue based fundraisers on behalf of the charities we support.

You may also be required to interview for any head office or management roles. The role would be based primarily at our head office in Stockport, and would involve some travel across the UK. We are looking for someone who would be willing to travel and stay away for 1-2 nights per week as we do recruit across the UK.

We are flexible so on your office days we do follow a hybrid working model.

What experience and skills do I need?

At least 5 years work experience is essential for this role.

12 months previous experience in a recruitment role is essential for this role.

You must be willing and able to travel around the UK on a weekly basis where needed. This will be up to 1-2 days per week.

You must have a UK driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.

Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel at a basic level and willing to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.

Strong organisational skills.

A keen eye for detail.

What will I receive?

£32, – £35, basic salary per annum dependent on experience

Bonus structure

35 hours per week – This would be Monday-Friday 9-5pm usually but we do offer flexible working options.

Reimbursement for any fuel costs when staying away, hotels will be booked for you and we will provide £15 per day food allowance.

Once we have received your application we will review your experience and if you match the job specification we will contact you on Indeed to arrange a call. We do aim to contact every candidate but if you do not hear from us within 5 working days unfortunately you will not have been successful to the next stage of the process.

You will have a 15-20 minute phone call with our Recruitment Manager who will discuss the role and your experience with you.

If you are successful to the final stage after your initial phone call, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview. These are currently held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Leeds or Manchester.

Once you have had your face-to-face interview we will contact you with the outcome within 48 hours.

What training will I receive?

BRC Promotions provides market-leading training to all our fundraisers. This comprises of an initial two-day induction at the BRC Academy followed by 30-35 hours of 1-2-1 on the job coaching. All our training is accredited by ITOL (Institute of Training and Occupational Learning) who have accredited BRC Promotions as a centre of excellence for training. You receive a certification documenting your competency on completion of our course.
