The Role:

The Resource Manager plays an integral role in ensuring that projects and operations are executed efficiently by effectively managing and allocating the Technimove’s resources in Operations across our Project and Program Management, Consultancy and Engineering teams.

The position involves a deep understanding of both the capabilities of the workforce and the demands of various engagements, allowing for the strategic and optimal placement of personnel and assets where they are most needed.

The role works closely with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to prioritise and work through pre- and post-sale resource requests and with key Operations functional heads, and preferred 3rd Party Suppliers.

By maintaining a comprehensive overview of ongoing and upcoming engagements, the Resource Manager ensures that resources are utilised in a manner that maximizes productivity and meets organisational goals, all while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Prior experience working in an IT Services organisation, IT channel, or value-added reseller, in a similar role.
  • Ability to use relevant systems and technology including M365 Office applications, analytics tools, CRM, and PSA/Resource Management software.
  • Demonstrate exceptional skills in resource allocation, inventory management, planning and organising, demand forecasting, workflow optimisation, and all types of communication.
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and audiences as needed to handle complaints, resolve conflicts, and provide feedback.
  • Ability to resolve resource conflicts and match available resources with engagement needs and timelines to ensure optimal utilisation and minimal bench-time, through detailed analysis of resource capabilities and engagement requirements, they align personnel, equipment, and budgets effectively.

Desirable:

  • Level 3 NVQ Certificate/Diploma in Customer Service.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Prince2 Foundation.

Salary:

Up to £35,500 dependant on experience
