As a Senior Data Analyst you will lead the production of high quality and deeply analytical reports through various mediums, including Microsoft Power BI. Be an expert in converting raw data into MI & BI – creating stories which aid Leaders in making critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Generation: Develop and present detailed reports on findings from data analysis to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Analysis and Visualisation: Perform in-depth data analysis using statistical tools and create visual representations of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Mining & Management: Skills in extracting data from various sources and transforming it into a structured format for analysis. Then oversee the storage, and use of data to ensure seamless access and utilisation.
  • Integrity Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data through regular maintenance and validation processes. Also, assist with data investigations to work towards cleaner data across the business.
  • Funnel/Pipeline Analysis: Examine sales funnels to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimisation to enhance sales volume.
  • Teams: Work closely with Distribution, Investment, Operations, and management teams to align data analysis with business objectives and campaigns. Mostly supporting the wider Change function, where required.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with internal customers by providing them with actionable data insights and supporting their decision-making process.
  • Provision: Offer data-driven recommendations to stakeholders to guide change strategies and business development.
  • Tasks: Utilise programming skills, such as VBA or Power Automate, to automate repetitive data processing tasks, increasing efficiency.
  • Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and use analytical insights to identify potential business opportunities and risks.
  • Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges.
  • Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure the precision of data analysis and reporting.
  • Governance: Awareness of data governance and compliance regulations to maintain data integrity.
  • Issues: Resolve queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Work: Assist on group projects where required.
  • Duties as set by management as and when required.

Experience:

  • Experience in FCA regulated environment
  • Evidence of using technology to assist in reaching business goals
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Industry knowledge & product / regulatory development awareness
  • Extensive experience of the compliance function as it applies to asset management and the financial advice proposition.
  • Experience of acquisitions is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the systems and software required to manage advice-based businesses
