Senior Motor Controls Technologist in Stevenage

My client, a world leader in the defence sector and supplier of Missiles and Missile Systems, requires a Senior Motor Controls Technologist to join their team, drive the technical excellence of project deliveries and provide technical leadership for the Motor Controls team with responsibility for coaching and mentoring team members. Senior Motor Controls Technologist They are looking for an expert in Motor Controls to be responsible for providing support and guidance on high complexity issues across all projects, playing a key role in defining the future strategy for Motor Control aspects of design and delivery across the Actuation Systems team. To be considered for this role, applicants will need to be a Motor Controls expert, able to operate at a senior level within the business, with the passion and drive to deliver. You will have experience of operating at a strategic level, sharing your expertise with your team by providing coaching and guidance.  Strong influencing and communication skills are key as you will be networking across internal and external design communities. From a technical perspective, you will be able to demonstrate:Experience of design and development of control algorithms for digital control systems.Experience as a user of the MATLAB / Simulink toolset and Embedded Coder for the generation of control algorithms ready for deployment within systems.
