Nacro works with some of the most marginalised people in society, in desperate need of a second chance: young people who are not in education or employment; adults and families facing housing insecurity and homelessness, often because of complex needs such as mental ill-health, addiction/substance misuse, a background of abuse, trauma or relationship breakdown; and, people who have been involved in the criminal justice system.

Our People and OD team - led by a new Director of People and Culture - is on a mission to build a culture and employee experience at Nacro that is worthy of the impact our people make for our service users and students every day.
You will have a primary focus on our Community Accommodation Service contract with the Ministry of Justice through which we support ex-prisoners to re-establish their independence and re-enter society.
Key priorities for the next year include supporting substantial contract growth (c.
+60%) and associated workforce and leadership development needs, development of our employer brand and recruitment practices, and driving improvement in our employee value proposition through initiatives related to pay and benefits, performance management, and continued investment in learning and development.
