Senior Program Manager in UK

DP World are recruiting for Senior Program Manager, reporting to the PMO Director for the Europe region. Our successful candidate will ensure that the team are monitoring project progress, deliverables, quality assurance, and customer service via use of PMO Tools in line with our global launch governance methodology. You will serve as the secondary escalation point of contact to internal/ external stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle with the project manager acting as the primary liaison. The Senior Program Manager is critical for successfully launching the awarded business on time and on/under budget.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive Program Management experience in the Automotive or Tech space, with understanding and experience in Governance and solutions.

Note: This position requires weekly travel across Europe depending on projects

How you will contribute

• Mentor the PMO team to implement launches in line with the Launch Governance Methodology/approach.
• Implement Best Practice launch governance methodology & supporting solution sets. Support the line manager in championing the planning, development, testing and implementation of launches to ensure timely deliverables, project success and quality with the PMO Launch Team.
• Developing good working relationships with the customer; ensures that the project teams establish excellent two-way communication communicating DP Worlds needs to be successful and risks where we need customer input.
• Manage project budgets with the PMO Team, initiate action to identify and resolve problems, and ensure goals are met.
• Support the PMO Team to identify/ resolve issues & risks that impact project completion.
• Manage resource planning to support growth.
• Support/Implement Continuous Improvement on the Launch Governance/approach.
• Demonstrate Innovation Skills to maximise the utilisation of the team.

What you will bring

• Qualifications - bachelor’s degree; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience – Minimum 15years’ experience in Project Management in a logistics/manufacturing environment in the Tech/ Auto Industries. Engineering/Operations background is desirable.
