Senior Software Engineer in Harrington

We're seeking a passionate and experienced software engineer to spearhead the creation of a brand new Data Engineering team.

You'll play a pivotal role in building a robust system for processing and managing daily data that fuels our entire organization.

This includes critical information like corporate actions, fundamentals, and index membership data.

The aim is to create a singular, clean, and readily accessible repository that's seamlessly integrated.

As the owner of this daily data, you'll be responsible for anticipating their evolving business needs and ensuring a well-structured, yet streamlined data schema.

This role will heavily involve hands-on engineering work.

What You'll Bring:

• Several years of experience working with financial data, particularly with an in-depth understanding of corporate actions.
• Proficiency as a confident programmer with at least one statically typed language (e.g., Java, C++, Go).
• Strong analytical and statistical skills for maintaining clean data. The ability to perform regressions and possess some knowledge of statistics or basic machine learning would be a plus.
• A willingness to learn and integrate with our existing software stack (primarily Go). Prior Go experience is not required.
