Avocet Recruitment is working alongside a highly regarded roofing contractor that require a Site Supervisor to assist the Contracts Manager in the organisation, management, and control of all aspects of site work throughout the Somerset area.Key responsibilities include: * Conducting pre-roof inspections, mid-roof inspections & completion sign-off’s. * Delivery of toolbox talks to tradesmen. * Material monitoring. * Plot scheduling with site teams and Contracts Manager. * Liaising and organising workforce of roofing tradesmen and labourers. * Regular communication with buying department * Attendance of weekly sub-contractor meetings on site.The successful candidate will have... * Valid driving licence. * Minimum 3 years of construction experience. * A good understanding of Health & Safety. * Someone with a positive, pro-active attitude. * A team player. * Good IT skills. * Excellent communication skills. * Excellent organisation skills. * Strong people skills. * Ability to work under pressure.Package details: * Company van provided * Holidays: 33 days including Bank Holidays * Working Hours : 7:30am - 5.00pm * Salary: Up to £35k per annumTo be considered for this position, click 'apply' now.
