Position: Power Platform Architect

Location: York (Hybrid)

SPG Resourcing have been engaged by a leading, global insurance business to hire them a Power Platform Architect to assist on the adoption of the Power Platform suit.

Job Description:

I'm seeking a talented Power Platform Architect to play an instrumental role in designing, customizing, and developing bespoke applications using Microsoft Power Platform.

You'll work closely with Business Operations teams, Solution Architects, and Engineering Chapters to provide technical leadership and oversee the configuration and development of high-quality deliverables.

Additionally, you will manage, coach, and develop a small team of technical staff, ensuring their performance and career development align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the strategy for the setup and use of Microsoft Power Platform in line with business and technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Business Operations teams to set up efficient and secure self-service apps.
• Lead the development of complex .Net applications in coordination with Engineering leads.
• Establish standards and processes for both internal and third-party suppliers, ensuring adherence and remediation as needed.
• Design, create, deliver, maintain, and support core cloud and DevOps platforms.
• Drive governance processes to ensure deployed services meet quality and security benchmarks.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
• Strong organizational and people skills, with experience in line and career management.
• Ability to coach and influence engineers.
• Certification at Expert level (e.g., Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect) is advantageous.
• Experience in development using .Net is advantageous.
